DESCRIPTION: An appealing Kutani porcelain depiction of two Japanese Lucky Gods, Diakoku and Ebisu, singing and dancing in brightly colored court robes. Often paired together as the two favorite gods of prosperity, Diakoku, holds his mallet and Ebisu beats his drum, both with animated facial expressions. Dating from the 19th C. Meiji Period, the figures are in perfect condition and are signed on the base, “Ryu-un.” DIMENSIONS: 9 ¼” high (23.5 cm) x approximately 8” wide (20.5 cm).
