DESCRIPTION: A pair of carved ivory Chinese beauties in slightly different poses, each holding large peony flowers and adorned with similar robes. One holds a large fan in her right hand and both have bird ornaments adorning their finely quaffed hair. Both are in very good condition and date from the early 20th C. DIMENSIONS: Heights are 8” (20.3 cm) without stands; stands are 1” high (2.5 cm).
